The 2026 KIAAA Fall Workshop will be held at the KSHSAA Offices in Topeka. For those athletic directors working on their NIAAA Certification, the workshop begins with optional Leadership Training Courses on Sunday, November 8. The main workshop is on Monday, November 9 with check-in beginning at 8:30 a.m. and the workshop beginning at 9:00 a.m. The workshop will conclude no later than 2:30 p.m. We purposely have this annual workshop during the Fall Athletic Buffer Week to make it more convenient to attend.
Optional Spring Conference Registration
Athletic directors who register for the fall workshop ($85 Fee) have the option of advance registration for the spring conference ($250).
KIAAA/NIAAAA Outreach Program
This year, the KIAAA is offering an RAA Outreach Program for athletic directors who have not yet earned their Registered Athletic Administrator (RAA) certification.
As part of the program, two of the three required Leadership Training courses (LTI 501 and LTI 502) will be offered on Sunday, November 8, with the third available online at your convenience—all at no cost.
Participants will also receive:
- 50% off the Fall Conference
- Free 2026–27 NIAAA/KIAAA membership, if not already a member
- An opportunity to win a $1,000 scholarship toward the NADC (National Athletic Directors Conference) in Kansas City in December 2027. The NADC scholarship drawing will take place after the Outreach Program concludes.

LTI Course Offerings
For athletic directors no participating in the Outreach Program, we are offering two Leadership Training Courses offered on Sunday, November 8 in Topeka at the KSHSAA office (both courses at 2:00 p.m.). LTI 508 Legal Issues III (Hazing, Constitutional Law, Disabilities Law, Employment Law & Labor Law) and LTI 790 Instructional Methods and Techniques.
